A Mosh Shmeryl
by
Rebecca Storch, Jane Robinson and Ariella Crones

They're funny and cute and even smart
You don't know it but they'll capture your heart.
They are cool and they work as a team and their name is Amelim
These people are older but just the same, without these folks we'd be ashamed.
Trying hard to do their best helping us without a rest Chotrim is their name and fun is their game
They are middle aged here at camp.
This overnight they are damp
Trying hard to be cool even though they are.
We hope that they live not to far.
They should be in Chug Scream and their name is Bonim
Oldest campers all the way we really want them to stay kidding around all the time we are really sorry if we can't rhyme.
We admire them and want to be them soon their name is Bogrim.
To the extreme.
These people will be Madatz soon.
Wwe're glad that they are back from the Holy Land. They turn into loving substitutes.
We want to follow their roots. MBi'ers and Madatz, We love you both Poof! You're madrichim!
Oldest of all strict and sweet
We wouldn't want to smell your feet
Madrichim to us you are our idols.
This is Mosh -- we love you

Update on the Mosh Ken

by Workshop 49er Haley Pollack

The Washington ken is doing great since Ariella last gave you an update. Since Ariella's article about the Ken we have had planning sessions for the kids to make little skits for Purim. This was all leading up to our super Purim Party. The kids put on their little skits, and then we had a magician come and show us wonderful tricks. The party was a success.  Two weeks ago the ken had a tikkun olam (heal the world) project.  Despite the low turnout we all worked to help repair a school in the city.   It was great. Coming up we have the spring overnight, some other peulot and then?CAMP (ed: what's that?)!! We are all excited

GESHER SEMINAR ROCKS BER BOROCHOV OUT OF HIS GRAVE

by: Max Matas

An impressive ruach driven crowd found solace and grace in Toronto's
Borochov centre for Gesher's winter seminar, February 19th-21st.. Spirits were high and the chaman-tashin were sticky, as the morning started with some Purim baking for a local shelter for battered women.
Carrying on the theme of social and economic class divisions, two
simultaneous peulot went on at once. While the older chanichim were awed and outraged by corporate greed, as revealed by Michael Moore in his film "The Big One," the younger chanichim explored the different opportunities available to people from different classes.
After filling our bellies with some falafel and pita, the Bonim went into
the city to do a little Tikkun Olam with Habitat for Humanity and others explored the wonders of the universe at Toronto's Science Centre.  All returned in the evening to purim festivities, deejayed by Bam Bam DJ Sam.

Sunday, March 21st, the Toronto Ken helped out at a Peseach Foodbank. Packing matzohs and gelfilte fish into boxes, Habonim Dror helped bring a little Peseach to the Jewish community in the MegaCity.
